Chia pudding
This simple recipe makes a delicious and healthy snack
Prepare it in the evening for breakfast, or a mid-morning pick-me-up
What you’ll need…
1/3 cup organic chia seeds
1 cup organic unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
1/2 tsp vanilla or cinnamon, to taste
1 glass jar with lid
How to
Combine all the ingredients in a glass jar. Cover with lid and shake it few times
Wait for 5 minutes and shake it again
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight
Chia seeds will expand and turn into a not too thick pudding
Top with berries, mango, or a sliced banana…. Sprinkle with nuts, unsweetened coconut flakes or cacao nibs…. or eat it like that!
You can add the unsweetened shredded coconut to the chia mix for a thicker consistency
